While many students were back home enjoying family and eggnog, Publix employees of the West End store were swallowing the reality of their store closing permanently.

This particular location, which closed on Dec. 24, has been at the center of campus life since its inception, because for many students without cars, it was the only place where they could walk to get quality necessities.

The Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi) Atlanta Chapter have recently put together an informative seminar entitled "What Do We Eat?" in hopes of educating students of their health and making them aware of exactly what they are and what they should be eating.

The earthquake devastation in Haiti was a major catastrophe that occurred on January 12, 2010.

The capital west of Port-au-Prince awoke to a 7.0 magnitude earthquake and destroyed nearly 70 percent of the city.

Haiti, a country already poverty-stricken, was hit with widespread damage that was out of the hands of the Haitian government.

It is my opinion that the government does not want African Americans to get off the welfare system because it is beneficial to them.
Although Gaga was unable to take part in the "Hope For Haiti Now" two-hour televised event, she opted to help out by donating all of the concert's proceeds from her Sunday performance at Radio City Music Hall.

I'm Just Saying...

The Washington Redskins are the worst sporting franchise in the country. This declaration has nothing to do with the team's dismal 3-5 record, nor the fact that I am a die-hard Eagles fan. I have no reason to "hate on" the Redskins; they've never posed much of a threat to my team's conference standings (at least not in recent memory).
